Our inspection and report is divided into three major areas as follows:

  • Issues that need to be resolved prior to listing the premises.
  • Other issues that could be attended to or negotiated.
  • Maintenance issues that need attention now.

The Report

After the house inspection is completed, you will receive a written report consisting of:

  • Detail of systems and findings
  • Summary of major systems
  • Summary of deficiencies
  • Summary of maintenance items
  • General repair suggestions

Our inspection is based on The Standards of Practice as documented in the handbook, National Academy of Building Inspection Engineers Standards of Practice for Residential and Small Building Property Condition Surveys as prepared by National Academy of Building Inspection Engineers (NABIE). . As stated in the standards our evaluations are based on visual evidence reasonably available during our inspection. Thus our observations and conclusions may be limited since conditions could exist that would not be known during our inspection.
