    Two recent Federal COVID-19 vaccines mandates will have a potential impact for contractors and on the overall construction industry: First, On September 8, 2021, President Biden issued an Executive Order requiring federal contractors to ensure that employees working on or under a federal contract are vaccinated against COVID-19. Then, On November 4, 2021, OSHA issued a new COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) mandating employers with 100 or more employees develop COVID-19 vaccination and/or testing policies for their employees. OSHA’s ETS has been temporarily stayed by a Federal Court, but could have future impacts once resolved.     Confined Space Risk is an in-depth examination of the necessary precautions, knowledge and skill for performing construction activities in a confined space. Attendees will participate in an interactive, virtual classroom to learn about the expectations and execution of 29-CFR-1926 Subpart AA Confined Spaces in Construction standard. Our goal is to develop a common understanding of how to effectively prepare and implement a project-specific confined space strategy to reduce risk and increase task efficiency.
